ICU / Advanced Life Support Ambulance
Some patients are too unstable to travel in a standard ambulance. Our Advanced Life Support (ALS) units are effectively mobile intensive care bays, staffed by a critical-care doctor or senior paramedic and equipped to monitor and treat seriously ill patients throughout the journey.
These ambulances carry cardiac monitors, defibrillators, multi-parameter patient monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators and emergency drug kits. They are used for heart attacks, severe trauma, stroke, respiratory failure and the transfer of critically ill patients between hospitals.

A doctor or senior ALS paramedic travels with the patient at all times.
For patients moving from a district hospital to a tertiary centre in Islamabad or Peshawar, our ALS ambulances maintain intensive-care standards from bedside to bedside, with live contact to the receiving intensive-care unit.

When is an ALS ambulance necessary?
If the patient is critically ill — for example a suspected heart attack, stroke, severe breathing difficulty, or unstable vital signs — an ALS ambulance provides the monitoring and intervention needed on the way to hospital.

Can ALS ambulances transfer patients to other cities?
Yes. We regularly move critically ill patients from Hazara to Islamabad, Peshawar and beyond with full intensive-care monitoring.

Are medical flights covered by the cost of a normal ambulance?
No. Medical flights involve aircraft charter and specialist crews, so they are quoted separately. We always share a clear estimate before any booking is confirmed.
